Field & Project Info

Our Field and all the amenities is a work in progress with a 5-10 year modification plan.

With, the short term plans involving adding a second ramp from the new starting stand to the runway.  Securing the covering down for the old ramp; and, annually resurfacing the ramp to keep it smooth and level.  Adding a new pull-through gate to make it easier to bring larger RV's into the RV connections.  Along with, ongoing grass cutting and general cleanup.  all of which contribute to the longevity of field use.

The long term plans involve expanding the cover toward the runway; as well as, extending the pit area itself another 100' to the south with larger 20' wide and 24' deep bays.  All projected new bays - like the smaller ones to the north  - will be equipped with electrical for charging.

Not to be out done, remodeling of the existing snack-shack to accommodate more people for meetings with both heat and air conditioning so that we may also fly in the freezing of winter and the burning days of summer and have somewhere to recover in between flights.
