Field Layout & Development Plan

The TexomaRC Field is in constant use and design evolution.  As members think of desired amenities, the club comes together to devise ways to make those changes happen.

From startup pads for giant scale planes, added height braces for startup stands to accomodate highwing planes, to new swivel chairs to accomodate sitting down while flying for those who need it.  As well as installing four commerical shore-power electrical drops for Travel Trailers and RVs.  Two 30 Amp and two 30/50 Amp drops for a total of four (4) commercial electrical drops.

And, in addition our pit area accomodates commercial electrical for battery chargers as well.

As you might imagine, our club is in a constant state of growth and improvements.  And with that we welcome anyone who wants to jump in and help from runway resurfacing to grass mowing and manning the concession & registration booths.  Your vested interest in TexomaRC is appreciated.

To help understand the field layout, the following layout map is composed of three images that reflects field parking and RV/Trailer placement when using the field for regular weekend flying as well as for large scale events.
